SUNFLOWER STAR PAINTING PARTY

Come join us Sunday afternoon, September 8th 1:00pm-4:00pm!

This painting party is a new variation from the usual party; this time we’ll be featuring highly detailed Sunflower Star ( P. helianthoides) models that you can choose and paint!

Your admission will include:
• 1 3D printed model of a sunflower star
• all of your painting supplies (you are welcome to bring your own!)
• 1 raffle ticket towards prizes

20% of proceeds from admission will go towards the funding the Sunflower Star Laboratory and their research.

Additional merchandise from Reef Renders and the Sunflower Star Laboratory will be available for purchase at the event.

The party will be at one of our favorite venues: Other Brother Beer Co. in their upstairs loft. Their unique food and drink can be purchased at their full kitchen and bar downstairs!

  • Nudis n Brewskis / Painting Workshops

    This is a painting event, but instead of a blank canvas, you have a replica Nudibranch that you can paint! If you never painted a miniature, you’ll be surprised with how good it will turn out. Each model is shaped and textured with beginners in mind. I’ll also be present helping you with tips!

    Every time I release a new species of Nudibranch, I hold a painting workshop to celebrate, and attendees get first pick at the models.

  • Weekly Live Streams

    Every Thursday from 6:00pm-8:00pm (PST)

    We cover a a range of topics in 3D arts. Every stream is different. Ranging from painting a miniature, to rigging a 3D model. Sometimes I will have a guest come on stream. If you have a question and are in need of a tutorial, feel free to ask and that can be a stream as well!

  • Nudibranch Planters! Paint n' Plant!

    Are you a fan of Succulents and Nudibranchs? Have you ever wanted to combine the two together? Well thanks to 3D arts, it is now a reality! Gill Circlets and Bronchial Plumes can now exist in the form of 2 inch succulents that can be planted in these 3D Printed Nudibranchs. The planter can also hang thanks to a custom hardware slot underneath to fit most 4mm hardware! The models are a larger PLA version from the original soy models and carefully looked over to retain as much detail as the actual species. As always, if you never painted a 3D model, you will still do great! The larger model allows accessibility for easier painting control. This is a variation of the painting party where you can also pot your succulent after!

    I buy all of my succulents from Succulent Gardens.
