“Wouldn’t you rather be painting animals?”

-is the statement that started this all. The art store clerk did have a good idea. I started to think about where I could get realistic miniatures of wild animals. I did find artists who focused on 3D wildlife, but few were creating ocean animals. Being new to 3D arts, I wanted to sculpt nudibranchs for multiple reasons. They’re so other-worldly and alien-like, that each sculpt is entirely different from one another. I would learn new 3D techniques from every species I sculpt; while also elevating my familiarity beyond an identification level. In my prints, I want to highlight their unique anatomy, vibrant coloration, how they move and sway in the swell, how they eat, what do they look like underneath. I hope these serve as an informative souvenir for anyone who enjoy ocean animals. I also hope they inspire others to continue learning about these small denizens of the reef.

If you’re interested in purchasing these, contact us at info@reefrenders.com

For now I prefer to sell these in person at local pop ups or monthly painting events!

There is no online shop yet, because we are currently building up our shipping department & materials. I’m testing out sustainable packaging that will ensure these nudibranchs will get to you in one piece.
I can easily fulfill local orders (Monterey), by pick up or drop off. You can definitely purchase these in person whenever I’m doing a painting event. If you want me to ship to you, shoot me an email and I’ll work out the details with you.
